BRIGITTE AND EMMANUEL MACRON INAUGURATE THE CAFÉ JOYEUX ON THE CHAMPS-ÉLYSÉES - LE PARISIEN
Emmanuel Macron inaugurated this Monday in Paris, on the Champs Elysees, the fifth Café Joyeux, a café-restaurant that employs people with mental disabilities. On the Champs Elysees, the ephemeral café will remain open for at least six months, the premises having been for this period made available free of charge as a loan by the insurer Groupama.
In March 2018, Brigitte Macron and Sophie Cluzel had together inaugurated a previous Café Joyeux in the Opera district. Other Café Joyeux are expected to spring up all over France, with requests piling up on Yann Bucaille Lanrezac's desk. He hopes to open seven new cafés in the next 24 months in Lyon, Lille, Tours, Versailles, Marseille, Angers and Montpellier.
